Congress killed the bailout due to outcry from both sides (oddly enough) stocks dropped and then calmed. As Michelle Malkin points out, there was no great fallout on Wall Street. Who would have thought that the government staying out of the economy was just what we needed. I guess we still have time to see if the whole world can come crashing down as many are predicting, but my guess is that if the media just stopped talking about it, all this “crisis” talk would go away.

For what its worth, stocks will probably be pretty flat for a while, if you are young and some money set aside, now is great time to invest on the cheap and reap the rewards later on.
