The Senate passed a bloated version of the original $700 billion bailout bill. Having grown to more than 400 pages in length and containing more “sweeteners” that you can imagine. We need to stop this NOW! The economy is not so great a the moment, but not yet that bad. More government influence will only hurt us. Using this plan the government will own those bad mortgages, meaning they will own those houses the mortgages are for, do you want that?

We can not stand by and let this economy go from a capitalistic one to a socialist one. Our founding fathers believed that the power of government was derived from the will of the people. Let your voices be heard and contact your local US Rep. You can find the numbers of those Republicans that voted no previously here at Michelle Malkin’s site.
